Jeremy

Jeremy is my 17 yr.old son....He is going to be a senior in high school this year and we have begun looked at colleges for next year..........he wants to go into computer science. This picture was from his Beta Club initation........he was a Beta Biker, if you couldn't tell.....haha.


The picture of me is with my niece Emily who lives in Boston.........she went to Boston University and never came home! haha..........she has a great boyfriend Justin and they just bought a house.........she got her Master's Degree last May and I went up for her graduation with my two sisters...Linda (her mom) and Becky. We had a great time and we are very proud of our girl.........we miss her alot, but do get to see her on occasion.

Ok, so it feels like we are living on the face of the sun..........it is soooo hot outside, my poor air conditioner can not keep up!!! It's cooler inside than out....but I hate to see my power bill for this month$$$...ouch!!

To update about my clothes dryer.......I did a load of clothes before I went to work this morning and put them in the dryer....I set the timer and it did turn off when the timer wound down......so maybe last night was just a fluke.....I don't know, but I will watch the dryer more closely in the future and make it sure it stops when it's supposed to and not leave it running over night.

Senior Moment......or dryer malfunction?

Good Lord!! Last night I was home alone and doing laundry. I put a load of towels in the dryer and before I went to bed, I put them on to dry for about 20 more minutes.........that was about 11pm.......well, when I got up this morning, a little after 8am.......the dryer was still running!!!! The timer had not moved past the 20 min. mark....I jerked open the dryer door and luckily my towels were not a pile of ashes..........the dryer didn't get that hot at that setting.........so I am trying again this morning and see if it was a one time fluke or a timer issue on my brand new dryer!!!! The towels were not untouchably hot or anything, so I felt a little better............but not much!!!

Ok....on to new business........I got $100 in child support this week.........woohoo!!! He has been in jail so I guess somebody paid his bond and he got out.............now, if he just gets arrested 181 more times at $100 a trip, my child support will be all caught up.............as of today, he owes Jeremy $18,191.00........how sad is that??? Jeremy's dad is a 50 year old man who is less responsible than anyone I know!! He has no where to live, no job, no visible means of support and no way to support his son!!! There are so many FREE outlets for him to get help with his "illness"/addiction! Betweent he drugs and the alcohol, he won't even try........he has a way of making people feel sorry for him....(raising my hand)......they want to help him.....he takes advantage for a while, then he moves on to the next patsy!
Ok....enough about that.....I have really been trying to just "letitgo"......he's never going to change and I don't want to live my life with him looming in the background like a dementor in Harry Potter!! In hindsight.......I should have never married him.....never gotten involved with him..........but at that time I had the self esteem of a gnat and I would have fallen in love with anyone who showed me attention.....and I did........several times.....Jeremy's dad is just the one who stuck! And he still is.......like gum on my shoe!! On the bright side....I did get Jeremy out of the deal and I wouldn't trade him for a billion bucks!!!!

I have loved Sam Elliott ever since Lifeguard.
I have seen every movie Robert Redford ever made.............except The Way We Were and I just couldn't ruin my mental picture of him with Barbra Streisand......sorry!
I have seen every movie Sam Elliott ever made that I know of..........wasn't crazy about him in Fatal Beauty with Whoopie Goldberg...........but I did watch it...........more than once....and they did cut the love scene between them.........Thank Goodness!!!!!
I remember when he was in Mission Impossible waaaay back in the old days!

The original Law and Order is my favorite........Jerry Orbach and Sam Waterston......I loved Chris Noth and Jesse L Martin too. I can watch reruns till my eyes fall out!!! haha
Jill Hennessey and Angie Harmon were my favorite girls on the show.
Law and Order Criminal Intent lost me when they lost Chris Noth and Vincent D'Onofrio. I like Jeff Goldblum, but it just isn't one of my "must see" shows........

I love Real Housewives of ........... I know it's a reality show and I know most of it is scripted....but Good Lord this season on New Jersey, Danielle is a lunatic!!! She puts herself into situations and when the drama ensues, she is the innocent victim!! She drives me nuts, but I still watch.........haha

Bethenney Frankel from the New York is my all time favorite of all the housewives.
